Karimganj (Assam) [India], September 2 (ANI): The Assam Police seized 102 kg of ganja from a truck and apprehended one person in Assam’s Karimganj district on Monday, an official said.
A senior police official of Karimganj district said that the narcotic items were recovered from a truck.
“Based on source input, a truck… was intercepted at Churaibari check point along Assam-Tripura border. On thorough search police team recovered 46 packets of ganja weighing about 102 kg from secret chember of the truck,” the police official said.
The apprehended person has been identified as Sahebjee Tripura from Tripura.
Further investigation is underway.
