Surat (Gujarat) [India], August 19 (ANI): A search operation is underway after a bomb threat was received at VR Mall in Surat district of Gujarat on Monday, said police.
The administration of VR Mall at around 3 pm received bomb threats through an e-mail to blow up the mall.
As soon as the information was received, the police officials reached to the spot along with the bomb disposal squad and dog squad team and started conducting search operations. Various teams of Surat Police including SOG and PCB are present on the spot.
Deputy Commissioner of Police of Surat, Rakesh Barot said, “At around 3 pm today the mall received the threat mall. The dog squad, police team and SOG team investigated the mall. “
