New Delhi [India], June 24 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Lok Sabha MP Nishikant Dubey on Tuesday labelled the Congress Party as a product of “slave mentality”.
In a post on X, Dubey, the Lok Sabha MP from Jharkhand’s Gonda, shared a “confidential conversation” paper dated 8 February 1973 between the then US President Nixon and US Ambassador to India Moynihan.
He said that according to this conversation, India had taken so many loans from America that by 2040, India will become a slave of America.
Taking a dig at Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Dubey questioned, “Did Iron Lady Indira Gandhi almost sell India?”
“1. This is a confidential conversation paper dated 8 February 1973 between the then US President Nixon and US Ambassador to India Moynihan. 2. According to this conversation, India had taken so many loans from America that by 2040, India will become a slave of America. 3. America is not even ready to buy India?” he said in his post on X.
He further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the one who talks with America “face to face”.
“The Congress party is the product of slave mentality; it is Modi ji who is talking with America face to face, and today India is the fourth-largest economy in the world,” he said in the backdrop of Congress repeatedly alleging a failure in India’s foreign policy.

Earlier, Dubey took a sharp dig at the Congress party and its legacy, claiming that former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was once made to wait for an hour by former US President Richard Nixon during her visit to Washington in 1971.
In a post on X, Dubey said, “Iron Lady Indira Ji, Jairam Ramesh Ji, for your information, in 1971 when Indira Gandhi Ji reached Washington to meet the US President Nixon, President Nixon made her sit in his waiting room for 1 hour.”
He then urged the Congress party to reflect on its historical leadership, stating, “Today, compare it with Modi Ji’s foreign policy and think about the state of the Nehru Gandhi family’s policy?” (ANI)
