Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], September 20 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, after returning to India his 10-day US visit, said on Friday that he conducted meeting with several technological experts and learnt about new technologies. He further said that the technology which will be suitable and beneficial for Chhattisgarh will be used.
Speaking to ANI, Dy CM Sao said, “Road construction technology, bridge construction technology, road divider construction technology – all these technical things were studied in America. In the coming times, the technology which will be suitable and beneficial for Chhattisgarh will be used.”
Addressing media persons upon his arrival, Sao said, “I have returned after 10-days visit to US. On September 9, I went to US. I went to 5 major cities in USA. During the visit, I had meetings to technological experts on road construction technology, bridge construction technology, road divider construction technology and use of AI in it. I studied about the new technologies there. Along with it, I met the Indian diaspora, especially from Chhattisgarh, a significant number of people are there from Chhattisgarh in US, contributing to the development of US. This visit was very beneficial. I have appealed to the Indian diaspora to take a visit in Chhattisgarh to adore the natural beauty of the state.”
On September 18, on the invitation of North America Chhattisgarh Association (NACHA), the Chhattisgarh Dy CM visited the Swadeshi Mela in Chicago, USA and observed Indian artwork there. Artists from various states of India had come to the fair.
The Deputy CM also visited the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and learned about the techniques of bridge construction and the materials used. He said that the government would also work towards creating better infrastructure by using these new technologies in bridge construction in Chhattisgarh. The Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao was on his 10-days US visit, which commenced on September 9. (ANI)
